Following a quick online consultation they locked us for our evening package with details and timings to be confirmed.
A few months later they reached out with a special request.
The couple had booked one of the South coasts premier drag acts as a surprise guest later in the night and wanted to know if we would be able to manage the sound and ensure everything ran smoothly.
Working with Claire at the venue we agreed timings and hatched a plan for Cherry Liquor to arrive in secret, incorporating their microphone and playback into our mix without need for a sound check in advance.
We also co-ordinated with Cherry to ensure we did not play anything earlier night which would also be appearing in the performance.

On the day we arrived in time for room turnaround and quickly set up for the party.
Following the first dance we filled the floor with party tunes selected by the couple using our Floorfilla party music app.
They selected a broad mix of music they know their guest would love, ranging from Barry White to Beyonce and Chaka Khan to Chappell Roan. Dan really enjoyed the variety and so did Emma and Abbies guests.
After golden hour photos and the buffet it was time for Cherry to make their entrance!
Because of the surprise there was no opportunity to soundcheck but our experienced DJ Dan was able to make sure everything was working and balanced the mix as they went along.
