It’s a popular choice for couples who want to personalise their day and do things their way.
The venue has a relaxed informal vibe with an outdoor ceremony space on the banks of the River Itchen. With accommodation and a cool bright barn to celebrate in, it ticks all the boxes.
Plus it’s exclusively yours for the whole weekend and you’ll have a dedicated events manager to guide you through the planning process and ensure everything works on the day.

Chris and Rosie reached out to us 4 months before their big day at The Barn.
They needed sound all day with music at their outdoor drinks reception, the wedding breakfast and use of a microphone for speeches before the party in the evening.
We delivered a portable speaker and full instructions the day before with our DJ arriving at the end of the wedding breakfast to set up and perform in the main barn.
Chris and Rosie described their music tastes as ranging from blues, funk and soul to 90s electronic, indie and rock and had a specific idea of how they wanted the evening to flow.
Our team are open to working with guidance and comfortable being creative with music outside of the mainstream.
They usually create their sets in advance but can be flexible depending on how the evening flows.

Party With The Music And People You Love
Our couple took to the floor for their first dance by Regina Spektor.
We then we followed their instructions with funk and soul from Marvin Gaye and James Brown.
As we headed into the evening the vibe was more like an 80s soul weekender classics from Chic and The Brothers Johnson, then the 90s/00s electronica featuring The Chemical brothers, Daft Punk and Flatboy Slim before finishing the night with pop punk, rock and indie tunes.
This style of block programming music isn’t for everyone our usual style but as long as your guests are onboard with the concept and know what to expect they’re usually very happy to join you on your journey.
