Bartley Lodge Hotel is a grade 2 listed former hunting lodge outside Cadnam on the edge of The New Forest.
This charming location is the perfect setting for a magical country wedding.
You can say your vows beneath the chandeliers in the Crystal Room or outside on the manicured lawns of the walled garden during summer.
Being a stones throw from the bottom of the M27 makes it easy to find while still tranquil enough to make you feel like you’ve left the rest of the world behind.
Kev and Amy booked us for their wedding at Bartley Lodge after a recommendation from the events team at the hotel.
After paying their deposit they set about selecting their songs through our “dating app” style interface and gave additional guidance on the structure they would like for the evening, wishing to start with 70s and 80s music before moving into 90s and 00s dance and a guitar driven finale with bands like The Arctic Monkeys, AC/DC, Jet and The Fratellis.

When their special day arrived the weather was glorious and they opted for an outside ceremony.
There is a chance on warm summer evenings the terrace and gardens will be too tempting to resist but this was not one of those evenings.
The new Mr & Mrs Blackwood opened the dance floor with a first dance to an acoustic version of Dakota by The Stereophonics and after it finished the floor filled and remained lively for the rest of the night.
