A Legendary Night At Lainston House
Lainston House is a beautiful luxury hotel dating back to the 17th century located just outside of Winchester.
It’s part of the Exclusive Collection and it’s dining and cookery school is legendary.
Hundreds of couples choose it as the venue for their wedding each year.
Some of them choose us to provide their entertainment, like Michelle and Marcus.
A Good Impression
We met Michelle and Marcus at the very start of their wedding planning journey. Like many couples they visited wedding fairs for ideas and chatted to one of our team at the Three Choirs Wickham showcase.
Our approach to music obviously left a good impression because when it came to booking their DJ they returned a year later to find us.
Michelle and Marcus took first dance choreography to the next level.
They both take Lindy Hop lessons and their first dance to Michael Bublé incorporated a few of the moves.
We can remember the looks of amazement from their guests as he twirled her effortlessly around the floor.
True Professionals
After the Dawley Barn came alive to a wide mix of music from Bruno Mars, Estelle, Gala and Calvin Harris with 00s pop from Five and Outkast. Later we dropped a few party classics by Chuck Berry, Arthur Conley and Queen which gave everyone the chance to dance and the couple showed off more of their moves.
Their wedding was one of several visits we made to Lainston House in 2019. A few weeks later we were back on another Sunday night for Natalie & Nick, another couple we met at a fair elsewhere.
They were a slightly older couple with just a few ideas of what they wanted. Nick was very happy with our work :
