The Master Builders House is a historic hotel on the banks of the Beaulieu river next to the 18th century shipbuilding village Bucklers Hard.
The building dates back to 1729 with wood beamed ceilings and antique fireplaces providing lots of character and charm.
It’s a unique venue for weddings and provides photographers with so many creative opportunities to capture your day.
We met Sam and Lucy at a wedding showcase the summer before their special day at The Master Builders House Hotel.
They really enjoyed a demo of our “dating app” style interface for selecting music and couldn’t wait to get started selecting their songs.

A few months before the wedding they decided on their first dance and asked for us to make one of our transition mixes between 2 versions of the same track.
On the evening this mix created a beautiful moment.
The chorus is so well known the guests instinctively serenaded the bride and groom before the more upbeat version kicked in and guests joined them on the floor.
Sam and Lucy gave us a very familiar set of songs to work with on the night and we mixed classics from Earth Wind & Fire and The OJays into current tunes from Myles Smith and Chappell Roan and recent floor fillers from Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida.
Like so many weddings this year the evening ended with “Love story” by Taylor Swift and the couple surrounded by their family and friends.
