Pinglestone Barn is the oldest barn venue in Hampshire and provides a combination of historic character, beautiful countryside and complete exclusivity.
Set on a working farm and vineyard in the chalk downland above Alresford, the ancient oak-framed barn offers a wonderfully relaxed and distinctive setting for a wedding of up to 150 guests.
The barn, vineyard, River Arle and surrounding Hampshire countryside provide a variety of beautiful backdrops for your ceremony and photographs.
With exclusive use of the barn, courtyard and grounds, plus on-site accommodation and the convenience of Winchester just a short drive away and London accessible in under an hour by train, Pinglestone combines the feeling of a peaceful countryside escape with excellent accessibility for guests.
All Your Sound Requirements Covered
Becky and Paul booked us to provide all day sound services for their wedding at Pinglestone.
They opted to hold their ceremony inside the barn rather than outside in the courtyard or by the river, and it was to officiated by a family friend.
We provided a wireless lavalier microphone for Rich to wear and an additional wireless microphone for friends and family to use for the readings along with playing their entrance and exit music.
After the ceremony everyone moved outside for drinks while the catering team swiftly turned the barn around for the wedding breakfast.
Meanwhile we provide background music in the courtyard and another wireless microphone for speeches before everyone returned to the barn to eat.
For the party in the evening, Becky and Paul used our Floorfilla app to provided music guidance for their evening.
We’ve written elsewhere about the importance of keeping music familiar at summer weddings and we had a broad selection of songs to work from including country from Darius Rucker, dance from David Guetta, disco from Chaka Khan alongside more recent hits from Chappell Roan.
After their custom edited first dance their guests joined them on the floor and the energy remained high all night.
