Our 2019 wedding season is getting underway and as usual we have lots of bookings as Three Choirs Wickham Wedding DJ.
Each booking is unique with individual custom playlists built specifically for the tastes of each bride and groom. We are not afraid to step out of our comfort zone into an unfamiliar genre of music to meet your expectations.
It was obvious when we met Tara and Mat that country music was really important to them.
Exactly how much would not become apparent until the evening itself. Everything was country themed – even the third tier of the cake!
Tara had stressed it was essential we were comfortable playing country music because they are both big fans.
What she had not told us was that Mat was part of a band and they had released several tracks online.
We’ve played hundreds of first dances but this was the first one written about the bride and recorded by her groom!
Handpicked Classics
After the dancing started Mat and his bandmates played a selection of songs before leaving us to bring the night home in style.
We played artists like Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker and Thomas Rhett alongside some handpicked “Popworld” classics chosen by the bridesmaids.
Naturally Cotton Eyed Joe went down a storm!
The next day we received an email from Mr & Mrs Cooper :
“Thanks for doing such an awesome job! We both had a great night as did all that hit the dance floor. You really did do us proud and we’d not hesitate to recommend you to our family and friends.
