Recommended Wickham Estate DJs
Wickham Estate is an exclusive use wedding venue set in the Hampshire Countryside between Southampton and Portsmouth.
There is a choice of indoor and outdoor ceremony options so couples can celebrate their special day here all year round.
We have DJ’d parties here since before the Old Winery was converted into a reception space, when weddings were held in a marquee on the top field overlooking the vines.
Kelsie and Jack booked us for their October wedding at Wickham Estate 14 months before the big day.
They were keen to get started selecting their tracks via our dating app style interface and also had a clear vision of how they wanted the evening to end, which we were happy to pre-produce.
They picked out plenty of music but also left instructions to add in anything we thought might work on the night.
We always appreciate trust and flexibility from our clients.
On the day, the weather meant an indoor ceremony but did not dampen the spirits of what was a beautiful fun filled day.
Little touches like taping their rings to the underside of chairs in the congregation and then those members being invited to be witnesses added a really inclusive touch.
Personalise Your Party Playlist
When we arrived in the evening spirits were high and we were ready to go in minutes, having already set up our equipment in the morning.
After a first dance to Kygo and Nile Rogers we kept the energy high with a party set full of floor fillers from Gala, Joel Corry, Flo Rida and Sean Paul plus a couple of tracks sprinkled in by their favourite artist, Hybrid Minds.
Their only instruction for what to avoid was anything by Taylor Swift, whose new album had been realised the week before.
Guests were aware of the ban but we made sure the evening was Tay Tay free as per their wishes.
The evening ended with a short edit of “Closing Time” by Semisonic, into a clip of Leonardo Di Caproio and a track by Alesso.
The next day, with the evening before fresh in her mind and feet still aching, Kelsie left a review on our Google page:
