Who We Are
Hampshire Event DJs are industry professionals from music radio, music television and events. We are music programmers with clear understandings of audience tastes and this experience gives them a unique advantage over mobile DJs when it comes to putting a party playlist together. As broadcasters we are confident hosts for award shows and facilitation.
Simon has worked in music radio for 30 years with brands like Heart, Wave 105 and Smooth. He DJ’d the club circuit in Birmingham before moving to the south and has hosted every size of event from award shows for 200 to Firework displays for over 20,000.
Martin has an established career presenting and programing radio stations in the south and can currently be heard on Greatest Hits Radio.
He is at home in front of a live crowd after hosting big city-center events, Djing for thousands at Salisbury Racecourse and compering large fundraisers like Race For Life.
Dan was the voice of drive time on Heart across Hampshire and Dorset for over a decade and still pops up from time to time. Dan held club residencies in Southampton and DJ’d at The Glastonbury Festival.
He is no stranger to presenting on stage having hosted many awards and mass participation charity sporting events.
Andrew has a distinguished track record in radio and video production. He set up music television channels for brands like Capital & Heart, has a strong understanding of what an audience wants to hear and more importantly what they don’t.
Kate started her entertainment career in the cruise industry before crossing over into radio and events.
Along with parties for us she is also the host of corporate events at Windsor racecourse.
Jono was well known to listeners across the South from his time presenting the breakfast show on Capital. He currently presents drivetime on The Hits.
He’s also hosted and DJ’d events across the region from city centre Christmas Lights to award evenings and corporate functions
Charlie has over a decade of experience and played almost every style of event, including bars, large clubs, weddings, events & product launches.
He got into DJ’ing because of a huge love of all styles of music and a great interest in technology.
Liam has been a nightclub resident in Portsmouth for years and worked on the radio in the city since he was a teenager. In addition to representing for us, he also runs “mini-ravers” events allowing parents to re-live their clubbing days with their kids on weekend afternoons.
Mark has been Djing for decades in clubs and bars and his radio career extended as far as presenting nationally for the Heart Network. In addition to this he’s also hosted and compered large events and mass participation charity events.
Matt has a wide range of experience DJing in bars like Tiger Tiger and Popworld. He’s never worked in radio but he has acted and appeared in Star Wars and Eastenders. Whether it’s a wedding, milestone event or corporate event you’ll be in safe hands.
Jack joined the team at the end of the pandemic.
He’s no stranger to DJing and has been honing his skills since his early teens.
Stuart Stuart is another very experienced radio and event host, currently heard on Wave 105. Music has been his hobby since his teens and he loves discovering new tracks which fill the floor.
John John is passionate about music and is the vinyl junkie of the group with a strong knowledge of 60s and 70s soul and rare grooves. Like the rest of the team you can trust him to work hard to give you a night which completely suits your tastes.
Craig Craig has spent forever as a house and techno DJ with residencies in London clubs. He relocated to Winchester in 2022 and found a new home with us.
He loves the variety of music weddings provide.
