At Hampshire Event DJs our team have a lot of experience playing unusual venues and unique events. Most years, at least once, we will host a Barn Wedding Reception.
Not in a converted barn venue like Three Choirs, Farbridge or Burley Manor but an actual barn.
Our barn related shenanigans last year included a corporate event with international guests, a group of young famers and a wedding on an old dairy farm.
This barn wedding reception was the scene for one of our best parties last spring.
In May we headed out of Hampshire to Surrey at the special request of Hayley and Tom. They have family connections with a New Forest wedding organiser and when they asked who she would recommend our names were top of the list.
Their venue was a barn in the stunning parklands of Titsey Place at the foot of the North Downs. This barn wedding was the scene for one of our best parties last spring.
The venue, the weather, the people and an abundance of psychological safety created the perfect environment for an amazing night and the dancing started very early on.
Kept The Guests Partying All Night
Afterwards the bride and groom both left positive feedback on our Facebook page. Tom said “Simon and Martin kept the guests partying all night and he was very helpful in making the day run smoothly”.
Haley added “You made the evening for us! Some serious tunes and some serious dancing to go with it! Thank you so much for everything”.
Our experience with farms extends beyond barn wedding receptions.
There are several locations in our area with remote fields and semi-permanent sail cloth tented venues like Pyesmead Farm at Plaitford near Romsey. Venues like this are far enough away from civilisation to allow the partying to continue late into the night and our complimentary uplighting always looks striking after dark.
If you’re looking at a rural location for your wedding or party we have the experience to bring the night home in style (and quite often the following morning too!).
