The Departure Lounge is a café on the edge of Alton.
It’s a wonderful countryside space you can truly make your own.
They can cater for 150 wedding guests in the café, marquee or gardens.

A Wonderful Destination
Kristian and Lizzie booked us towards the end of the pandemic after finding our listing on Hitched.
We arranged a consultation and discussed specifics over Zoom.
They said they were looking for a “fun but informal party atmosphere in the evening, both to celebrate our wedding and everybody’s freedom to socialise again”.
Nothing says fun and informal like hiring a mechanical shark.
All we needed was a bit of luck with restrictions lifting by the end of July.
Their gamble paid off and we were able to party.

The process of selecting songs was so unique and made for a fun evening.
Their platform was described as like Tinder, but for wedding music.
It’s easy to choose the songs that you definitely want played, that you don’t mind depending on the vibe and the songs you absolutely don’t want to be played at all.
It was so easy to use and made for a few fun evenings having some drinks and selecting music.
